Christian Prison Resources Ministries… (click here for link to site)

Exists to assist prisoners and detainees in HM Prisons, Young Offenders Institutions and  Immigration Removal Centres to trust in Christ,  deepen their Christian faith, and walk with Him in such a way that it causes all relationships to be profoundly changed for the better. This reflects the Bible’s teaching on relationships. A significant part of the ministry of CPR is also to assist Prison Chaplains in their work. To support this, CPR is involved in raising the profile of prison ministry among Christian leaders, congregations and individual Christians.

Greek Doctors without Borders - Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international medical humanitarian organization created by doctors and journalists in France in 1971.  Our donations support the projects carried out by the Greek doctors of the organisation.

MSF's work is based on the humanitarian principles of medical ethics and impartiality. The organization is committed to bringing quality medical care to people in crisis regardless of their race, religion, or political affiliation.

Arms of Love  - The mission of Arms of Love is to give abandoned and abused children a home, a family, and a future so they will become the leaders of tomorrow in their churches and in their communities.

By the time they come to us, our children share one thing in common—they have nowhere to live and no one to care for them. No one. Arms of Love rescues the most desperate children and provides a place of comfort and security that they may always call home.

Richard & Linda Welch in Albania - 'Twenty years ago a church pastor and his wife went on holiday to Corfu. During that time, he took a daytrip over to Albania. The nearby port town of Saranda had recently opened it's border for the first time in nearly fifty years. During it's time in control, an extremely hardline Communist regime had decreed that it was officially a Godless country. The pastor was disturbed by what he saw and his church's mission to Albania began.
Today that mission is well established in the heart of community life in and around Saranda. Much work remains, but we have seen scores of lives changed for the good, ranging from helping sick children to serving people in advancing years who suffered for decades in internment camps.
Holy Trinity Corfu has been a faithful friend to our mission for many years. Consistent prayer support, occasional visits across the water, collecting our mail, financial contributions, access to a well stocked library, even homemade cakes have all been gratefully received by us.
As full time workers on the ground, we greatly appreciate our friends in Corfu. Far from feeling as though we took Jesus to Albania with us, we found that he was already there when we first arrived! As we reach out to discover his love, together with our Albanian friends in the churches we help to look after, it's wonderful to be able to say that just across the water we have other church family members who reach out to Jesus with us.'

Bishop's Lent/Advent Appeal 2015

Greece is much in the news at present – after a decisive election and new discussions between the country and the European Union. These are big, high level matters but everyone in the Diocese in Europe has the chance to make an impact in Greece in a smaller, yet most practical way.

Bishop Robert has unveiled his Lent and Advent Appeal for 2015 and it focuses on a project assisting migrants in Athens. The work is part of our Greater Athens church which is deeply involved in social care as well as ministering in worship and to the needs of English speaking congregations
